with your bright comical imagination.
You're homesick and lonely,
could his untouched sweater bring comfort to your wandering mind?
The flashlight I carry numbs my hand,
as frigid feet tip-toe down the path.
The walls are plain and bare ahead,
feeling exposed and overwhelmed.

desperate, our quivering lips meet.
You're afriad to go outside alone,
for the sun blinds and singes your watery eyes.
Journeying through my dreams,
breaking through the seams,
lift your head from the floor,
and go back through the squeaking hinges of the door.
